Criminal Charges Filed In Connection With September Crash That Injured Boise Cyclist

A Middleton man faces a charge of reckless driving in connection with a September accident that seriously injured a cyclist.

Sept. 16, Boise triathlete 32-year-old Rachel Corey was on a training ride near Pleasant Valley and Gowen roads when she was struck by a northbound sedan. Correy was seriously injured in the collision.

Boise City prosecutors said a review of the accident found evidence that the driver operated his motor vehicle carelessly and heedlessly, without due caution, and at a speed likely to endanger others.

Marc Law, 30, of Middleton has been charged with reckless driving, which is punishable by up to six months behind bars and a fine of $1,000.
