Idaho Man Accused of Stealing Items From Scene of Murder-Suicide

An Idaho man is behind bars, charged with stealing items from the scene of a murder-suicide.

Twin Falls County law enforcement was first summoned Nov. 15 to a home south of Twin Falls. That's where they found the bodies of 36-year-old George Salinas, Jr., 38-year-old LeAnn Schuldies and her 17-year-old daughter. Authorities didn't disclose the relationship between Salinas and the two women. Police suspect that Salinas killed the two women before killing himself.

But police had to return to the scene when a woman called authorities to say that a man had been stealing food, tools and household items from the victims' house. This morning's Twin Falls Times-News reports that 65-year-old William Green had been hired to clean the home. But the mother of Salinas said that Green had been taking things from inside the home. Police confronted Green outside the home and reportedly found several items inside Green's truck, including silverware, tools, food and appliances.

Green was booked into the Twin Falls County Jail on a charge of felony burglary and obstructing officers. He's scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Friday, Nov. 28.
