Death of Idaho Woman, Found on Bank of Snake River, Considered Suspicious

A body found on the banks of the Snake River early Friday has been identified as a Lewiston woman. Now officials are looking for the public's help in putting together clues leading up to her death, which they say is suspicious.

Prior to being discovered by a passerby, police said 69-year-old Claire Richardson was seen in the downtown Lewiston area Nov. 6 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Her body was discovered the following morning between Beachview Park in Clarkston, Wash., and Chestnut Beach, which runs along the Snake River. The cause of death was not released.
