It was a particularly dangerous weekend on Idaho roadways.

Citydesk reported on two fatalities over the weekend—one where a Kuna Man was killed when his pickup rolled several times on the westbound I-84 near milepost 19 in Canyon County, and another accident where a 4-year-old boy was killed in the community of Wilder when he was walking with his father in a parking lot before being struck by a pickup.

Additionally, two Lewiston residents were killed Nov. 1, when their pickup drifted over the center line of a highway near Pomeroy, Wash., and collided with another vehicle. Martin Heieren, identified as a Lewiston firefighter, and a 4-year-old passenger, Nevaeh Davenport, were both killed.

And in Southeastern Idaho, police say two people were killed in the early morning hours of Nov. 2, when a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Interstate 15 slammed into another vehicle.

Cindy Nicholls, 29, of Rigby was identified as the driver of the wrong-way car and 79-year-old David Wendler of Wise River, Mont., was identified as the other driver. Both died at the scene.
