Press-Tribune: Nampa Library Chief Placed On Leave

Nampa officials are remaining tight-lipped as to the reason why, but they are confirming that the director of the city's public library has been placed on administrative leave.

This morning's Idaho Press-Tribune reports that Mark Rose has been ordered to stay away from work but Nampa spokeswoman Vickie Holbrook (the former managing editor of the Press-Tribune) would not comment further and not even indicate when Rose had been placed on leave.

When contacted by the Press-Tribune, neither Rose nor Library Board Trustee Phil Bence would comment either.

Rose took the helm of the Nampa Public Library in April 2010.
