Two roads in downtown Boise will change from one-way streets to two-way streets by Friday.
As part of the Downtown Boise Implementation Plan
, 11th and 12th streets will be converted on Friday, Oct. 31, and Thursday, Oct. 30, respectively.
The changes are designed to slow traffic along downtown thoroughfares, making it more bicycle and pedestrian friendly. But more changes are coming to downtown Boise streets between now and mid-November, including one-way to two-way conversions on Third and Fourth streets between Main and State streets, and Jefferson Street between First and Fourth streets.
Signal changes and additions will also accompany the traffic changes on Third Street at Main and Idaho streets, on 11th Street between Main and State streets, and 12 Street between Main and Idaho streets.
