A North Idaho school district has severed its relationship with an educator after the female employee was charged with sending nude photos of herself to a high-school student.
This morning's Coeur d'Alene Press is reporting
that 40-year-old Bobbi Deitz, who worked at Seltice Elementary in Post Falls, was issued a misdemenaor citation for allegedly sending the photos to the cellphone of a male Post Falls High School student. The charge was sending harmful material to a minor (the student is 16).
"The bottom line is that she's no longer employed at the district and that's all I can say about the matter," school Superintendent Jerry Keane told the Press
Post Falls Police Chief Scot Haug said Deitz was "very remorseful" and embarrassed by the situation, adding that the boy told police that he and Dietz kissed once. Haug said Deitz later confessed that she had sent the photos earlier this month.
"Bobbi admitted that she had been drinking the night she sent the pictures," said Haug."His parents were aware of the photos and were in the middle of dealing with this with their child."
Dietz had been employed at the school district since 2007.
