Boise Man Charged With Manslaughter After Fatal Car Crash Last Week

Boise Police have arrested a Boise man in the death of a woman involved in a three-car crash, charging him with manslaughter.

Witnesses to the crash reported seeing a two-door Kia swerving and veering into oncoming traffic the evening of Oct. 16. that's when the car collided with a four-door Hyundai and an SUV on State Street near Ellens Ferry.

Three were injured in the crash, including both the driver and passenger of the Kia, and a 70-year-old woman, Susan Wymer, 70, of Boise, who was severely injured in the crash and was later pronounced dead at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the Kia, Ersan Lukovac, 22, of Boise, sustained severe injuries in the crash, but was arrested by Boise Police Department officers upon his Oct. 23 release from the hospital and charged with a felony count of vehicular manslaughter.
