A North-Central Idaho man is behind bars after police said he set fires to two homes and sat in his car nearby to watch them burn.
Police in the Clearwater County town of Orofino arrived on the scene Oct. 16 and found the two homes fully engulfed in flames. KLEW-TV reports
that it didn't take long to determine that the fires were human-caused. That's when they found 53-year-old Douglas Bonaparte in his car near the scene of the fires.
Bonaparte was charged with arson, arraigned on Oct. 17, and ordered held on a $75,000 bond. He faces a preliminary hearing later this month.
