"Now, where did I put that several hundred dollars?"
The Ada County Sheriff's Office says a good Samaritan has turned in "a pile of cash" found on the side of a road near Lake Hazel Middle School earlier this week. The money was discovered around 8 a.m. on Oct. 6.
The ACSO reports that at least two cars ran over the pile of cash before the good samaritan picked up the cash and called sheriff's deputies later that day and ultimately turned in the money.
There was no wallet or any other identification nearby.
Anyone making a claim on the cash will need to do a pretty good job proving that it was their property, but if anyone has indeed lost that money, they're asked to call ACSO Property and Evidence at 208-577-3035.
