A Boise man is behind bars, charged with two felonies after police said witnesses were quick to report his alleged stalking of children.
Boise Police were called to the neighborhood of North Five Mile and West Ustick roads September 24th. That's where witnesses told officers that a man driving a gold sedan had been circling the neighborhood and appeared to be stalking children at a nearby elementary school.
Officers began patrolling the area when they were flagged down by a witness who reported seeing the driver watching children. The witness provided a license plate. Later that day, parents of a child reported that the suspect had followed their 9-year-old and two other children while on their way to school.
Officers said the suspect is a registered sex offender on probation.
