Woman Charged With Pulling Knife in Fight Outside North Idaho School

Police say an exchange of property in a north Idaho school parking lot turned violent, resulting in a young Spokane woman charged with the attempted stabbing of another female.

Law enforcement was called to the parking lot of Lake City High School. That's where they say 18-year-old Morgan Wozniak had agreed to receive property that had been in the possession of a 20-year-old woman. But police say during the exchange, the two women began to fight and Wozniak attempted to stab the victim with a steak knife. But police say Wozniak did take the same knife and stab the seat of the victim's car. That's when Wozniak's father intervened and took the knife from his daughter.

A school resource officer was nearby and helped arrest Wozniak, who was booked into the Kootenai County Jail on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon on school grounds and malicious injury to property.
