North Idaho Man Charged With Firing Weapon At Speeding Driver

There are many possible responses to a speeding driver—some more appropriate than others—but a North Idaho man was taken into custody after police said he fired a gun at a reckless driver.

There were no injuries, but 39-year-old Daniel Montgomery of Coeur d'Alene has been charged with aggravated assault following the Sept. 18 incident. Eyewitnesses said a driver was speeding through Montgomery's neighborhood and when the driver tried to speed away, Montgomery reportedly fired multiple rounds.

KHQ-TV reports that law enforcement is still looking for the driver of the vehicle.
