The sign makes things quite clear:
"Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. Bans Guns On These Premises."
KHQ-TV reports that Buffalo Wild Wings opened its latest franchise in Coeur d'Alene on Labor Day (it also operates a location in Meridian).
The television station reports that the sign has already been met with varied response:
"I'm OK with that. It depends on the owners of the restaurant, whether or not they want to do that," said one citizen.
"Citizens don't have the right to do anything and the crime is just terrible. I think you should have the right to have a gun anywhere," said another.
But a Buffalo Wild Wings regional manager said that while the company supports the Second Amendment, it prefers that weapons not be brought inside its establishments.
"We serve alcohol and sometimes those two things don't mix," said Jay Dowed.
