Four Boise juveniles were released to the custody of their parents early Wednesday, but not before each was charged with a felony count of burglary.
Boise Police were summoned to the neighborhood of West Overland and South Cole roads early Wednesday. That's where a citizen told authorities that he saw four young males burglarizing vehicles.
A short time later, officers found the four, between the ages of 14 and 16, walking near Hummel and South Brooklawn drives. Police said they found evidence with the teens, including burglary tools. Officers said they also connected the four to other recent neighborhood burglaries. Three of the four live in the neighborhood.
The boys were booked at the Ada County Jail but released to the custody of their parents.
