Boise motorists will be glad to hear that Warm Springs Avenue reopened Wednesday afternoon.
The city of Boise Public Works Department announced that phase two of the Warm Springs Sewer Project was wrapped and the road was reopened to traffic a few days ahead of schedule. That came just in time for Wednesday evening's Nickel Creek concert at the Idaho Botanical Garden.
Meanwhile, the bigger piece of the project, between Pioneer Cemetery and Adams Elementary, continues with sporadic restrictions near the construction. That phase is expected to be completed by late October.
And yet another phase of the project is scheduled to launch in mid-September, with full road closures between Starcrest and Starview Drive.
