Robert Castoro, owner of Boise upscale restaurant Barbacoa, has been arrested on a felony drug charge.

Booked just after midnight Aug. 5, Castoro, 47, is charged with felony manufacture, delivery or possession of an illegal substance with the intent to deliver, according to the Ada County Sheriff's website.

Boise Police said they actually went to Castoro's East Boise home back in early June to follow up on a separate investigation. That's when they said Castoro was in possession of cocaine. They forwarded their report to Ada County Prosecutors leadng to Castoro's arrest just before midnight. He bonded out of jail early this morning.

Barbacoa opened in 2009, but the multimillion-dollar restaurant and bar burned completely to the ground in early 2010. It reopened larger than before on New Year's Eve 2010 with a larger footprint than before—9,400 square feet—with new amenities like a DJ booth, a "secret" VIP room and a rooftop deck.
