There has been yet another vehicle versus bike collision.

Witnesses to the accident reported that at approximately 7:45 a.m., a cyclist heading southbound on Orchard Street entered an intersection on a crosswalk signal. That's where he was struck by a sedan turning south onto Orchard Street from Fairview Avenue.

The cyclist, a male in his 40s from Garden City, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He has been cited by a Boise Police Department officer for failing to follow a traffic control device. The violation comes with a $90 fine.
