A Boise woman is behind bars, charged with battery on a police officer, following a disturbance at a local eatery.
Boise Police say they were called out to a Boise restaurant just after 2 a.m. July 30 near West Emerald and North Milwaukee streets. That's where police say they found a woman under the influence of an unknown substance and unable to safely care for herself. While receiving medical attention from paramedics, the suspect reportedly kicked an officer in the face, and later grabbed an officer's baton, trying to hit a security employee at a local hospital.
After she received treatment at the hospital, 19-year-old Claudia Ceron of Boise was charged with felony battery on an officer and a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Ellante Williams, 27, of Portland, Ore., was booked into the Ada County lockup on two felony counts of accepting the earnings of a prostitute and interstate trafficking in prostitution.
Zeyad Alkarawi, 23, of Boise was charged with a felony count of aggravated battery and a felony count of aggravated assault.
