Woman Riding Mobility Scooter Killed by Teen Driver in Caldwell


Idaho State Police are investigating the death of a woman after her mobility scooter was struck by a car in Caldwell Friday.

At approximately 10:25 p.m., police responded to a fatality crash near Cleveland Boulevard and Linden. That's where Joshua Sullivan, 18, of Nampa, struck a female victim with his car as she was attempting to cross Cleveland Boulevard, then struck a telephone pole. 

The victim has been identified as Brenda Sisco, 48, of Caldwell. She died of her injuries at the scene. 

Traffic lanes were shut down for approximately three hours after the incident, which is still under investigation.
