Boise police locked up two suspects—a man and a woman from separate incidents—charging each following traffic stops.
Both incidents occurred in the evening hours of June 28. The first after police were alerted of an alleged road rage situation near South Cole and West Overland roads, where witnesses said a man tried to run them off the road. When officers stopped the suspect's vehicle a short time later, they said they found that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Additionally, police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Khurishan Dusunov, 22, of Boise was charged with a felony count of aggravated assault, driving without privileges, failure to appear on a warrant and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A short time later, Boise Police stopped a driver on westbound Interstate 84. The vehicle had been clocked at traveling 78 mph. When speaking with the driver, police said they could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage, and the driver blew .119 and .116 blood alcohol content tests. Additionally, the driver had a previous DUI conviction.
Shawna Crawford, 36, of Nampa was charged with felony DUI and driving without privileges.
