Soccer jerseys—preferably with some red, white and blue—were the uniform of the day June 22 as Boise pubs and restaurants were packed to the beer-soaked gills by fans watching Team USA take on Portugal in the latest World Cup thriller.
USA came back from being down 1-0 at halftime to score two goals, from team captain Clint Dempsey and Jermaine Jones.
And the scene at Downtown Boise's Ha' Penny Irish Pub and Grill was divine madness.

The ending? Well, if you don't know by now, the match ended in a 2-2 tie, but the USA's hopes of advancing are very much alive.
