BW Video: Corn Beef, Pastrami and Kugel: Oh My!

A Boise favorite for more than a quarter century, Deli Days didn't disappoint Thursday and Friday, and thousands again streamed through the doors of Ahavath Beth Israel grabbing corn beef and pastrami sandwiches, knishes, and what appeared to be endless tables of kugel and pastry delights.

But Deli Days evolves into the Idaho Jewish Festival today with music, dance classes and a mini-film festival

“The heart of the festival is to share the culture of the Jewish people,” organizer Danny Gans told Boise Weekly. “It’s more than just about the food, it’s about demystifying who any people are. We want to share who we are with everyone and we’re proud of our culture.”
