The Boise Fire Department Dive Team pulled a man out of the Boise River early Saturday morning. The man, identified only as a 32-year-old male from Boise, was unresponsive and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Dive team rescuers, with the assistance of Boise Police, were called just after 7 a.m. Saturday to the river near the Parkcenter Bridge. After talking to witnesses, Boise Police said they had reason to believe that the victim was a fisherman who fell into the deep, swift and very cold waters.
Rescuers were able to locate the man and pull him from the water at a take-out near Ann Morrison Park.
