The Idaho Department of Correction reports that two inmates who had escaped from the North Idaho Correctional Institution on June 4 were taken back into custody, without incident, in the evening hours of June 7.
Acting on a tip, law enforcement discovered 23-year-old Tyler Davis and 23-year-old Dylan Ames near Swallows Park, south of Clarkston, Washington, near the Idaho border.
The two men now face the possibility of additional charges related to their escape.

The Idaho Department of Correction is alerting the public that two inmates have escaped from the North Idaho Correctional Institution in Cottonwood. IDOC said the two inmates escaped just before noon today while they were helping to unload a delivery truck.
Tyler Davis, 23, is described as a white male, approximately 200 pounds, 5-feet 9-inches tall, with brown hair and green eyes. In March, he was sentenced to two-to-five years behind bars for grand theft.
Dylan Ames, 23, is described as a white male, approximately 175 pounds, 6-feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes. In February, he was sentenced to five-to-10 years for possession of a controlled substance and intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Both men were wearing green shirts and blue jeans at the time of their escape.
