Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden announced today that Idaho will receive $1.3 million from GlaxoSmithKline.

As part of the settlement, GSK agreed to reform its marketing and promotional practices by not making false or misleading claims about its products or provide samples of GSK products to doctors who are not expected to prescribe the medications.

GSK  also agreed to reduce its financial incentives to sales representatives who may engage in deceptive marketing.
