April 10, Boise Weekly reported that the suspect in an Ontario, Ore., bank robbery had been found critically injured in his car from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, from which he later died at a Boise hospital.
Today, the Oregon State Police released the suspect's name to reach his next of kin. Joseph Johnston, 71, or Mojave, Ariz., is reported to have ties all across the country. Anyone with information about Johnston or next of kin can reach Oregon State Police Detective Javier Marquez at 541-889-6469.
