Three Boise Coffee Shop Robberies in Two Months

Boise Police are investigating the third coffee shop robbery in two months—the latest during broad daylight on South Broadway.

A coffee shop employee told police that a lone suspect walked up to the shop, demanded money and took off on foot. The incident took place at approximately 12:45 p.m. April 5.

Police said the suspect is described as a light-skinned male, possibly in his 20s, about 5-feet, 8 inches to 5-feet, 10-inches tall, clean shaven, wearing sunglasses, a black hoodie and black pants.

Two other coffee shops were robbed in early February and late March—one on South Vista Avenue and another on Broadway Avenue.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
