Meet Idaho's newest champion: Trooper.
The 2,500-pound bull has been crowned national champion Angus bull, the biggest title in the nation for a breeding bull, at a Fort Worth, Texas, stock show.
Owner Russell Fehringer of Power County told KIDK-TV that he was pretty certain that Trooper would grow to a champion soon after he first laid eyes on animal when he was just a calf.
As for Trooper's future, he'll be fairly ... let's say busy. Ten straws—or small containers—of his semen are worth $2,500 and embryos created on the Power County ranch will sell for approximately $10,000.
