Gwynn Boyd (aka Muller), 34, is charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting and obstructing.

A Boise woman is behind bars, facing a felony charge of battery on a police officer following an incident Sunday afternoon at Ann Morrison Park.

Boise Police were called the scene where they stopped a fight between two men, but as the fight was broken up, the woman inserted herself into the investigation, according to police. Even though she was told repeatedly to leave, police said the woman cursed at an officer, placing herself between the two fighting men and the police. The woman was accused of kicking an officer in the knee.

The two men were also arrested and charged with misdemeanors, but the woman, 34-year-old Gwynn Boyd (aka Muller), was booked into the Ada County Jail on a count of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting and obstructing.
