No, this isn't Idaho's biggest news of the day, but because today marks the vernal equinox, we thought we would share this story from Big Country News, which reports that a family living in North Idaho's Lewiston Orchards is celebrating the rare birth of sheep quadruplets.
The Moore family have bred sheep for three generations, but they say this is only the third time that one of their ewes has been pregnant with quads and, more importantly, all four have survived.
The Moores say that the mom is doing fine. She delivered triplets in each of the past three years. So, yes, that's 13 lambs in four years.
