Police Blotter: Two Arrests, Two Suspects Jailed for Meth Possession

A Boise man and woman—unrelated—are both behind bars, facing felony meth possession charges, following two arrests by Boise Police.

In the evening hours of March 18, Probation and Parole officers conducting a home check on the male suspect at his residence near North 15th and West Jefferson streets, found the suspect to be in possession of methamphetamine and a light bulb that had been converted into a pipe.

Patrick Oar, 56, was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

Melanie Baugh, 37, is charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

Just before midnight, March 18, Boise Police observed a vehicle with no front plate driving north on North Patricia Lane. During the course of the traffic stop, a K9 alerted police to a substance in the vehicle. Police found that a passenger in the car was in possession of meth and a pipe.

Melanie Baugh, 37, of Boise was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
