A Boise woman is behind bars after taking off with several personal items from a parked vehicle when she was confronted by the owner of the vehicle.
Boise Police were called out early this morning to a residence on North Allumbaugh Street, south of West Fairview Avenue. That's where a woman told police that she had heard a noise outside of her home and when she went outside, she spotted another woman inside her pick up truck. When the victim confronted the suspect, the suspect took off on foot north on Allumbaugh.
Police later caught up with the suspect and linked several items, including clothing, makeup and sunglasses, to the theft.
24-year-old Kelsey Lafollette of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of burglary.
Boise Police said they were also called to a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland on Jan. 13. That's where store employees said three suspects tried to make off with a television.
32-year-old Tye Davis and 27-year-old Cassy Masse, both of Boise and 35-year-old Kerry Woodard of Garden City were all charged with felony burglary.
Boise Police said they also took into custody Jan. 13 a Boise man wanted in connection with a Dec. 1 burglary. Owners from a small business in Northwest Boise told authorities that the suspect had taken cash, tools, and guns from the business.
27-year-old Mark Bennett of Boise was charged with felony grand theft and felony burglary.
