Police Blotter: String of Burglary Busts at Local Retailers

The Boise Police Department's Retail Crime Interdiction Unit reports several felony arrests after working with local retailers.

Among the arrests:

Ryan Jensen, 24, is charged with felony burglary.

Law enforcement were called to a retail store on the 600 block of South Vista Avenue Jan. 2. That's when an employee told police that a man had left the store with a coat without paying.

Ryan Jensen, 24, of Boise was charged with felony burglary.

Austin Stradley, 19, is charged with burglary and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.


Meanwhile, Boise Police say they were called to a retail store on the 600 block of North Milwaukee Street on two occasions—Dec. 29 and Dec. 30—when the same suspect was spotted in connection with the theft of a stereo. Boise Police say the suspect also was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Austin Stradley, 19, of Boise was charged with felony burglary and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Andrew Leamons, 26, and Heather Mayes, 23, both of Nampa, were each charged with felony burglary.

And police were also called to a retail store on the 8100 block of West Fairview Avenue on Jan. 2, when employees said a man and a woman left the store with jewelry without paying.
