Boise Police Investigating ATM Thefts

Boise Police are looking for clues in connection with two overnight ATM thefts.

At approximately 1:55 a.m. Nov. 19, officers were called to a credit union on the 10900 block of West Fairview Avenue, where they found evidence that someone had attempted to tamper with an ATM, noting that the machine's control panel had sustained damage. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.

Less than an hour later, at 2:42 a.m., Boise police were called to another business near South Latah and West Alpine, where they found an ATM had been stolen.

A witness gave officers a description of a pickup truck that drove away from the crime scene at high speed.

Anyone with information on these crimes is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 208-343-2677.
