A Boise man is behind bars today, charged with felony possession of meth and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
During a search of a suspect's home—under a 4th Amendment Waiver—on the 2300 block of South Pond Street, Boise Police found the suspect, Alex Gibson, 30, of Boise, in possession of 2 grams of methamphetamine and multiple items of drug paraphernalia in his garage.
Troy N. Trotta, 29, of Boise, was also at the scene and charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Darin Meeks, 42, of Boise, is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Boise Police were also called to the scene of a disturbance at a home near North 15th and West Fort streets at approximately 8 p.m. the evening of Nov. 12. That's where officers found evidence that the suspect had menaced a victim with a knife, threatening violence if the police were called, which caused the victim to fear for his life.
Darin Meeks, 42, of Boise, was arrested and booked into Ada County Jail on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
