A Boise man is expected to serve as many as 15 years in prison when he's sentenced Friday, Dec. 20, for the May 14 attacks of two women in the Boise Towne Square Mall parking lot.
31-year-old Gregory Macho pleaded guilty to the crimes Oct. 7 but told the court that he didn't remember committing the assaults because he had been drinking and took a handful of painkillers.
Macho pleaded guilty to four felonies: aggravated assault, aggravated battery, destruction of evidence and use of a deadly weapon (his truck).
Macho's wife and brother are also facing charges in connection with the incident. They're accused of destroying evidence. They have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Prosecutors have indicated that they'll recommend a 15-year jail sentence for Macho.
