Boise Police say two people, a man and a woman, were locked up over the weekend in connection with two separate fights.
Law enforcement was called to the area of South Vista Avenue and West Canal Street Oct. 4. That's where an adult victim told police that a woman came up from behind him, attempting to strike him with a knife in one hand and a rock in the other. When officers arrived, the suspect refused to obey commands and physically resisted attempts to restrain her.
Eventually, 32-year-old Anna Rhodes of Boise was charged with a felony count of aggravated battery and resisting and obstructing.
In a separate incident on Oct. 6, Boise responded to a fight at a residence on the Boise bench. A male victim told police that he was in an argument with another man in an ongoing dispute at the home. At one point, the suspect reportedly struck the victim in the head with a five-pound dumbbell weight. The victim sustained what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries.
25-year-old Ryan Taylor of Boise was charged with a felony count of aggravated battery.
Boise Police also report that they responded to a report of a burglary in progress on the 10000 block of West Fairview Avenue Oct. 6. A witness told police that he saw the suspect break the window on a parked car and take items from inside. Officers located the suspect and retrieved a pair of ski boots that had been taken from the vehicle.
37-year-old Phillip Canedy of Boise was charged with a felony count of burglary and petit theft.
Police responded to a report of another weekend burglary, this time at a west Boise residence on Oct. 4. Officers said they found the suspect in a vehicle near the home and recovered items that had been taken from the residence. Additionally, police located marijuana, alcohol and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
18-year-old Cameron Eisenbarth of Boise was charged with felony burglary, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a minor in possession of alcohol.
