A young Boise woman is behind bars charged with a felony in connection with theft of merchandise at multiple stores on the same day.
Police said the suspect, along with another Boise woman, walked out of a retail store wearing several clothing items without paying. Employees found tags for the clothes in a fitting room. During a search of the suspects' residence, detectives discovered more than $600 in stolen merchandise from five stores, all taken on the same day.
19-year-old Amy Andrews of Boise was already charged with grand theft on Sept. 3, and on Oct. 2, 19-year-old Ashlee Hough of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail, also on a felony charge of grand theft.
