Police Blotter: DUI Suspect Crashes Into Gas Station and Harboring a Fugitive

Kasey Blackburn aka Kasey Moss, 31, is charged with harboring a fugitive and possession of a controlled substance.

A Meridian woman is behind bars, charged with harboring a fugitive. Boise Police say the woman was with a bank robbery suspect Sept. 20 when law enforcement eventually caught up with the robbery suspect. During their investigation, detectives said the woman had knowledge that the robbery suspect was wanted by police and that she assisted him in avoiding arrest.

Additionally, police said the woman was in possession of methamphetamine.

31-year-old Kasey Blackburn, aka Kasey Moss, was booked into the Ada County jail on a felony count of harboring a fugitive and a felony count of possession of a controlled substance.

Evelina Bennett, 33, is charged with felony DUI.

Boise Police say they also arrested a Boise woman for DUI after they found she had crashed into a gas station on the 100 block of South Broadway Ave. Sept. 21. When police arrived on the scene, they found a Ford Focus had driven through the window of the gas station. The driver failed several field sobriety tests and blew blood alcohol levels of .395 and .381. A check of records indicated that the suspect had two previous DUI's in 2006 and 2007.

33-year-old Evelina Bennett of Boise was booked into the Ada County lockup on a felony count of DUI.
