Two teens have been arrested by Boise Police in connection with a string of recent home burglaries.
Law enforcement said the two 19-year-olds are linked to five burglaries in Northwest Boise and another break-in on the Bench. All incidents occurred during the day when the homes were unoccupied. Police said the thieves entered the homes either through forced entry of a rear door or window, a dog door, or a door left open. In each case, jewelry, cash and small electronics were stolen.
Canyon Lund, 19, and Brandyn Thompson, 19, both of Boise, were charged with multiple felony counts of burglary. Lund was also charged with five felony counts of grand theft.
Officers said they arrested Lund and Thompson after the pair left a pawn shop where they were attempting to sell items reported as stolen.
