A Boise man, first spotted by a witness as bleeding from the mouth and pushing a motorcycle down a road in the early evening hours of Aug. 26, ended up behind bars, charged with a felony count of grand theft.
Boise Police said they responded to a citizen report of a suspicious person near North 10th and Main streets. That's where officers noted the motorcycle wiring harness had been cut and the man had apparently been drinking. Additionally, police said the suspect provided false identification, implying that he was the owner of the motorcycle. Police determined that that motorcycle had been stolen a few blocks away earlier in the day.
19-year-old Matthew Mcgraw of Boise is charged with grand theft, providing false information and minor consumption of alcohol.
