Boise Police said they took a suspect into custody July 16, wanted in connection with a theft at a South Boise home.
On June 3, a woman told police that several items had been stolen from her home and garage. Police said they had reason to believe that the suspect, who is well known to the victim had stolen the items, including gold rings, coins and electronics and sold them for cash. The coins alone were valued at more than $5,000.
21-year-old Ali Fathi of Boise is behind bars at the Ada County Jail, charged with a felony count of grand theft.
