A former Twin Falls County judge, who resigned from the bench last June following her April 2012 drunk-driving arrest in Boise, has been arrested again, this time for allegedly driving with an open container of alcohol.

Former 5th District Court Magistrate Judge Nicole Cannon was arrested June 7 in the shadow of her December 2012 sentence of 20 days in jail for her DUI conviction (she was was able to convert the jail time into 160 hours of community service). Cannon was also sentenced to probation and had her driver's license suspended for 90 days.

Twin Falls television station KMVT-TV reports that Cannon will be back in court Monday, July 1 for a Cassia County Court arraignment on her new charge.
