Police Ask For Help To Find Gang-Related Beating Suspects


Boise Police are looking for the public's help in identifying two suspects that they say took place in an assault outside of a nightclub on the 10000 block of W. Fairview Ave. in the early morning hours of March 18.

Police arrested 23-year-old Anthony Bernal of Nampa, charging him with a felony count of aggravated assault following what witnesses said was a bad beating of a male victim. Police said the the assault had "gang overtones."

The police department is still actively looking for two other male suspects.

One suspect is described as a heavy set adult male, about 6' 1" tall with medium to dark skin in his early 20s. At the time of the incident, witnesses said he was wearing a grey shirt, blue pants and grey hat.

A second suspect is described as a slim build adult male in his early 20s with light colored skin, about 5'7" tall, and at the time of the incident witnesses said he was wearing a white shirt, and "long" shorts with rolled-up cuffs.
