With a promise of bringing more than 300 new jobs to Idaho, Firehouse Subs—a nationwide restaurant chain founded by two firefighting brothers—will be opening a dozen locations in southern Idaho, beginning with their first location in Boise this spring.

In addition to their sandwiches, the restaurants work in concert with their Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which provides funding and life-saving equipment to first responders.

Firehouse Subs restaurants are expected to open locations in Twin Falls and Idaho Falls in addition to Boise. These will be the first Idaho franchises for the 600-unit national chain.
