Boise Police: Suspect Blows a .30 BAC Following DUI Bust

Boise Police said a Boise man blew a .30 blood alcohol content after being stopped the evening of Jan. 11 on Zuni Street, east of Dalton Lane. Law enforcement stopped the man's vehicle after the suspect was allegedly involved in a fight earlier in the evening near Pawnee Drive and Zuni Street.

A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI.

Wesley Gilbert, 25, was charged with a felony count of DUI when he was booked into the Ada County Jail.

Brandon Daun, 25, is charged with delivery of a controlled substance.

Also Friday night, Boise Police said they became suspicious when they spotted a vehicle parked behind a closed business near Overland Road and South Raymond Street. Police officers noted the distinct odor of burnt marijuana in the vehicle. A search netted three separate packages of pot, with a total combined weight of 23 grams. Police also recovered a pipe and drug paraphernalia.

Brandon Daun, 25, of Pocatello was charged with a felony count of delivery of a controlled substance.
