Idaho Education Task Force Includes Politicians, Educators, Businessmen


Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter has unveiled the names of his newly formed Task Force for Improving Education, which will gavel in its first session on Friday, Jan. 11.

The task force includes:

-Laurie Boeckel, Idaho Parent Teacher Association
-Roger Brown, Governor’s Office
-Cheryl Charlton, Idaho Digital Learning Academy
-Linda Clark, Idaho Association of School Administrators, Meridian School District
-Penni Cyr, Idaho Education Association
-Rep. Reed DeMordaunt, (R), Idaho House of Representatives
-Karen Echeverria, Idaho School Boards Association
-Ken Edmunds, State Board of Education
-Wayne Freedman, ISBA past president
