UPDATE: Citizen Spots Missing Woman, Relatives "Thrilled' to Have Her Safe

Boise Police said they found Janet Garrett at approximately 2:50 Friday afternoon, thanks to a citizen who called officers who spotted Garrett near 36th and State streets.

Officers said that Garrett appeared to be in good health but may have spent the night outside.

Relatives said they were "thrilled" to have Garrett safe at home.

Janet Garret, 41, was last seen wearing a red Christmas sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Boise Police are looking for help in finding a woman they consider to be a "missing endangered person."

Janet Garrett, 41, was last seen at her home in the vicinity of North 29th and Good Streets Thursday afternoon. But police said Garrett has a medical condition that may have left her disoriented and confused, and they are concerned because she did not have proper clothes for the current weather conditions and doesn't have her medications with her.

Garrett is 5-feet, 4-inches tall, has brown hair, blue eyes and was last sean wearing a red Christmas sweatshirt and blue jeans.
