Boise Police continue to investigate the discovery of a body late Sunday in Ann Morrison Park.
Investigators said Sunday night that they had reason to believe the man may have been homeless in the park for some time. Passersby notified law enforcement when they spotted the body lying in a small canal near the duck pond in the southwest corner of the park just below Crescent Rim Drive.
The Boise Fire Department assisted police in pulling the body from the water.
The Ada County Coroner's Office will try to identify the deceased and cause of death in the next couple of days.
